The name HIS reflects the belief at the heart of the business: our experience, skills, and opportunities are gifts from God, entrusted to us to serve others with integrity, excellence, and intention.
MEET THE FOUNDER
20+ years in fabrication & drafting
Jacob’s career began on the shop floor, running machines and learning how things are built. He grew into drafting, design, and operations leadership, eventually serving as a general manager.
At Haas Metal Engineering, Jon Haas gave Jacob the opportunity to grow beyond the shop floor and into drafting, design, and business operations. His dad, Ralph Scott, and Troy Krentzel at TK Metals also helped shape his approach to hard work, leadership, and accountability.
That experience revealed a recurring challenge: unclear drawings, disconnected systems, and gaps between leadership and the shop floor. HIS was built to help close those gaps—with clear details, practical standards, and a partner who understands the work.
